Working alongside Eumelia we have conducted a full analysis of our emissions, from our packaged materials right through to the gas we use to power our roaster. We now track our impact as accurately as possible on a monthly basis and believe in not only working hard to reduce this, but offsetting and removing the remainder of emissions that we create.

That’s why we have chosen an array of projects to be associated with. For example, carbon removal projects such as Living Carbon. This company is using gene editing to create photosynthesis-enhanced trees that store more CO2! They actually remove 53% more carbon from the atmosphere than any normal tree.

We also believe in giving back to the country and communities that we take our coffee beans from the most, which is why our offsetting projects are based in Brazil. Together we can be a Carbon Neutral Business!

Renewable energy for our roaster, bike deliveries where possible, a zero-waste policy and a partnership with Terracycle are just a few strategies that we strive for.
