
Pourover
Orea Z1’s are a super simple method of making coffee and give a clean, crisp brew. We love these on a daily basis. This method is a good starting point and ratios can be adapted to suit your taste.

Weigh
Weigh out 15g of the very best coffee you can get your hands on. We love a light to medium light coffee in this style of brewer

Add the coffee
We’re using an Orea Z1 for this method, which gives an super clean, crisp finish and is nice and forgiving.
Grind your coffee to a medium coarse and add to your Z1.

Pour boiled water
Pour in 50g of freshly boiled water to bloom the coffee, making sure all the coffee is saturated. After 30secs, add the remaining 200g of water, taking it to a total of 250g. The whole brew should take about 3mins from first pour to the last bit of water going through the coffee bed. If it takes longer than 4mins, coarse up the grind. Shorter than 3mins, make it a touch finer
